This was a private commission from a client who wanted to make a bilingual menu of her family’s favourite dim sum dishes. She wanted her nieces and nephews to grow up learning both the English and Chinese names of the food.

This piece was made entirely by hand and involved old school layouting with tracing paper and measurements with a steel ruler. After that, it was inked, lettered, and painted using traditional media.
