Made in the stylistic slipstream following my backpacking trip to Mexico, I was obsessed with bold colours, complex textures, and pushing myself out of my comfort zone.

These chameleons were among the first attempts I made in painting before laying down any outlines with pen or pencil. It was a freeing experience and, along with the hyper-saturated colour choices, has been the foundation of my current style.
