The more I experiment with painting plants, the more I find myself drawn to their weird and wonderful shapes.

I used reference photos for these illustrations from a book at the Montreal Botanical Gardens library. They’re all species native to Northern Québec.

The collection was exhibited during the Symposium des Artistes sur le Champ in Chambly, Quebec (2019).
